TALE OF THE TAPE

GIVING TEAMS MORE ANGLES TO VIEW THE GAME

As the saying goes, "the eye in the sky don't lie." But you can't know what you can't see, so we've teamed up with University of Kansas Hospital to give you more coverage than a shutdown corner.

At Edge Up Sports™, our goal is to generate as much data as possible to make more informed decisions in sports. Starting in 2016, we are piloting a program to use sensor-tracking cameras to follow the action on the field, and translate that action into performance insights for athletic trainers, players, and coaches. With the ability to get the video in their hands more quickly, and continually improving the insights we provide; we look to systematically deliver health and performance.

VIDEOMETRICS BENEFITS

FOR TRAINERS

Player health is always the main priority. Give your trainers a more complete view of what's happening on the field so they can educate and care for players off of it.

FOR PLAYERS

Every rep taken in a film room is a rep the body doesn't have to take. With the ability to view each play from every angle, that's a lot of football with a lot less energy spent.

FOR COACHES

Time spent organizing video is time spent away from the drawing board or improving players. Get a better video experience and keep the focus on what matters most.

THE TECH

ADVANCED DATA SETS

  • Strategically placing video cameras on playing fields to gather more comprehensive data on player performance and health

  • Making medical grade video available instantly to enable injury detection and athlete feedback

  • Utilizing sensor tracking to generate limited access data sets on specific player performance metrics

  • Creating a black box for reviewing injury occurance and contributing to a broader conversation about injury risk reduction and prevention.
